Simple fractional games and fraction comparison
Choose a game and discover a way to practice
Simple fractional games and julyolitic fraction comparison: activities in English with age selection, a brief explanation and direct links to the appropriate games.

Begin with equal parts of an entire
In the ”fraction kitchen” a portion of pizza is served. When divided into four equal parts and one coloring, you see a quarter. The number of all parts is the denominator and the number of parts that are chosen is the meter.
Compare drawings before comparing numbers
In Fragments films, two equal lengths are compared, and in Equal Flags, equivalent fractions are met. One may ask how a half and two-quarters can cover the same length. The three games are available on the third grade screen.
Continue to assemble and divide parts
After understanding equivalent fractions, you can try enrichment with a parent. In ”fraction from different parts” you build a fraction of several unit fractions: half and one-third together are five sixes. In ”how many pieces per serving?” you arrange six eights in two-eighth portions and get three portions. First you mark the parts in the drawing, and then you check the number. The links here open in third grade; these are the enrichment challenges to choose from and not a list of demands for the class.
